These multi-use carboys are made from polypropylene which makes them autoclavable, dependable and durable. Perfect for your primary and the secondary fermentation. It is equipped with a leak proof spigot screwed to the body which makes it ideal for bottling beers directly from the carboy. These are lighter in weight and easy to clean. These carboys have a fill level marking which makes it easier to visually track the liquid level. Additionally, a screw top lid is attached at the top which creates a perfect seal and protects the beer from the bacterial contamination outside. Perfect for Beer, Wine, Cider, Mead, Kombucha or any other fermented beverage!

Note: This carboy is not designed to hold liquid at extreme hot temperatures. It is exclusively used in the cold side of the beer making process.

Note – Height is measured without the airlock. Diameter does not include the tap which is an additional 2 cm approx. To install an airlock, please drill a tiny hole (approx. 7.5 mm) on the lid of the fermenter and make sure that the airlock fits tight into the hole.

Usage Instructions

  • Make sure the carboy and its parts are cleaned and sanitized before transferring the chilled wort into it via auto-siphon
  • Once transferred, ensure that the lid is secured, and the air lock is in place
  • After fermentation, rinse the carboy with warm water and soak it in the cleaning solution for a few hours before letting it air dry
