Rice Hulls are used in brewing as an aid in filtration by improving lautering and resulting in  good wort flow. These are often used when the percentage of adjuncts (rye, wheat, sorghum etc) is higher in your grain/grist weight.  Rice Hulls do not contribute any flavour, color or aroma to the beer and hence, are safe to use between 1 – 8% of your grain/grist weight.

Usage: Rice Hulls should be added directly to the mash for better runoff rates and wort clarity.
